Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan

The last Saturday, Stevie invited me to joined in an event that he called as Unduk Ngadau (Beauty Pageant) and it was held at Dewan MCA, Kuala Lumpur. I'll explain a bit about this Unduk Ngadau event later, even though me myself do not understand much, ha3... but I was lucky coz there are books provided by the organizer to help me understand. Events for the day from noon till late evening.

The Kadazandusun Kaamatan festival is the most indigeneous and most grand festival in Sabah and its particularly significant as it marks the occasion to honor "Bambarayon" (spirit of rice) to thank God for their bountiful harvest. Huminodun - beatified as UNDUK NGADAU is the soul of the Kadazandusun anual Keamatan Festival celebration in May.

What can be drawn is that they are really love to have fun and good in entertainment. Tan Sri Dato' Sri Panglima Joseph Pairin Ketingan and Datuk Seri Dr. Maximus Johnity Ongkili also contributed songs in Kedazan's languages. Fortunately there is an interpreter translated in English. Ha3... They also performed Sumauzou Dance and everbody took part except Me and Andy. Ha3 ... If we both dance I think people ard will start laughing coz I will perform JOGET and Andy may be will perform his ritual dance. Ha3. This is a new experience for me.

2nd TRIP for SUNSET or SUNDOWN

This time I would like to share my moment at Tanjung Simpang Mengayau or well-knowned as The Tip of Borneo. It is located in the Kudat Peninsula, about three and a half hours (or 215 kilometres) drive from Kota Kinabalu City. A visit to Kudat is not complete if you don't take the opportunity to visit Tanjung Simpang Mengayau. This is my 2nd trip to Tanjung Simpang Mengayau. I arrived around 4.45 pm at Kudat and after checked-in at Marina Kudat Golf Resort I went to Tanjung Simpang Mengayau for Sunset. It takes me 25 minutes from hotel to Simpang Mengayau. It was beautiful and wonderful moment seeing the sunset. The next day I went back to Kota Kinabalu City and stayed at Nexus Karambunai. This is my second time staying. I will let u know abt Nexus in my next entry.

My Suggestion : - For those who are interested in taking picca... enjoy ur day at Kudat especially SUNSET at Tanjung Simpang Mengayau. So nice.

My next visit .... insyallah for sunrise trip at Lahad Datu on the East coast of Sabah. My editor told me that Lahad Datu is the first sunrise seeing in Malaysia. I hope I will be at Tanjung Atiam, Tungku District which is the smallest district in Lahad Datu. I can't wait for my next visit.

Miss You (Mount Kinabalu)

September 2010, my editor and I went to Kundasang which close to Mount Kinabalu. The weather is very cold up there. After 2 days trip we went back to Kota Kinabalu. Photos below were taken after we arrived at Kota Kinabalu. My eyes became a bit reddish due to temperature change drastically and car air-conditions blows directly into my eyes that' are what my editor explained. Honestly, it happens every morning. (",)

So, because my eyes changed a bit reddish my editors changed it to white. Then he also created a FAKE TEAR DROPS. Photos below were edited by our blog editor.
